• ITINERARY •
December 30th: Marrakech – Telwet – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades gorges
Your travel to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Merzouga desert dunes start by crossing the high Atlas mountains. Ascending to Tizi N’Tichka at 7,413-foot (2,260-meter). We will see beautiful villages suspended on the flanks of the Atlas mountains during the drive, stop for lunch and tour in the World heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, it famous kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films. Then we will pass through Ouarzazate and continue towards Skoura oasis with it’s authentic 17 century kasbah, the valley of a thousand Kasbahs, Roses Valley and finally to the impresive Dades gorges where we will have dinner and overnight in a Riad.
December 31st: Dades gorges – Arfoude – Merzouga desert camp
We will wake up early in the morning, and after breakfast we departure to Erfoud. Berber villages are all along the way, We will also pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then we continue to Merzouga, after relaxing few minutes in a Riad in Merzouga, the camels will be waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara and celebrate a special New Year’s Eve dinner, after watch the beautiful sunset. After the celebration you will sleep in nomad tents.
January 1st: Erg Chebbi camel trek – Merzouga Desert Exploration
he morning we will ride camels early to enjoy the view of sunrise, the destination will be the hotel to have breakfast and a shower. Then we will explore the nomad living and see many small villages like (Merzouga, HassiLabied and also Khamlia) we’ll drive for 60 kilometers. During the afternoon you can enjoy swimming in a local hotel’s swimming pool surrounded by beautiful view of sand mountains.
January 2nd: Merzouga – Arfoude – Errachidia – Midelt-Ifrane- Fes
Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. You will depart to Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous and the valley of Ziz then stopping for a panoramic view of the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region. Continuation to Midelt across the pass of TiziN’talghamt and have lunch break. After lunch you will be driven to Fes via the Cedar forest near Azrou and the mountain of the middle Atlas with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkies). You may have a stop in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) before arriving to Fes.end of our services.

25% deposit is necessary to confirm any program. The reservation should be done at least 4 weeks before starting program. Tours booked before that need full payment at the time of booking.
