3 days desert tour from fes to marrakech and camel rides in Merzouga (erg echabbi dunes), including Fes, Ifrane, cedar forest, Midelt, Arfoud, Erg chebbi dunes, Camel rides, Todra and Dades gorges, Ouarzazate, Ait Ben haddou Kasbah, The high Atlas mountains, Tizi n’tichka pass & Marrakech.
• ITINERARY •
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Errachidia – Erfoud – Merzouga
Your driver will meet you at your hotel or Riad around 8:00a.m., depart and transport (8 hours) over the Middle Atlas mountains through the cedar forests of Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco), Azrou, Midelt and Ziz gorges towards Sahara, until the Erg Chebbi dunes appear on the horizon. After relaxing a few minutes in Merzouga, the camels will be waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. Then we will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the heart of the Sahara, after we will walk to a high dunes to see the impressive sunset, we will spend the night under nomad tents.
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
Wake up for Sunrise lovely pictures, and Breakfast in open air. We return by camels to the hotel for Shower. Then, we depart to Erfoud which is known by fossils’ preparation. Drive through palm treesgroves.We stop for lunch, then we take a short walk in Todra Gorges.
We head our stoping point Boumalne de Dades. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 3: Dades Gorges- Rose valley – Skoura -Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will take a short walk in the gorges before departure for Marrakech. We will follow the Dades Valley through El Kelaa Magouna, the Valley of the Roses and the road of a thousand Kasbahs. We visit of Ouarzazate and stop for lunch in Ait Ben Hadou village. We will have time to explore the famous protected UNESCO site which is the nest of many films like the Gladiator, lawrance of Arabia and much more. We will drive via Tichka pass to arrive to Marrakech.
